Is Melba a paid application?

You can listen to the app's first episode for free, with no limit on the number of times you can try out the guided sex experience. The articles are also freely accessible.
In order to access all the other unlimited episodes, as well as new episodes, you can take out 3 types of subscription:
- the weekly subscription at €7.99 per week, with no commitment
- the monthly subscription at €19.99 per month, with no commitment
- the annual subscription at €89.99 per year, with no commitment

What is the use of being Melba Premium?

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you no longer wish to subscribe, you can cancel your subscription directly from the Google Playstore or Appstore. Simply follow the steps below:

Who is Melba for?

Melba is for anyone who wants to explore their sexuality with a willing partner! To have a good time with a Melba episode, you don't need to have had any particular sexual experience before - there's plenty of choice for all kinds of desires and fantasies. We recommend Melba to couples in which there is a minimum of communication around sexuality, so that both partners are able to communicate their desires and non-desires.

Finally, Melba is for all ages (because there's no age for being playful and doing yourself good).

Melba experiences are available for straight, gay and lesbian couples - and will soon be available for non-binary people and adapted for transgender people.

Do I necessary have to use Melba with my partner?

We recommend it! Melba isn't audio porn, or erotic audio for masturbation or fantasy, it's a guided immersive experience performed live with a partner. You can always listen to the episodes on your own with a good dose of imagination, but we recommend you play along with a partner to really get the most out of the experience. As a small exception, some episodes will be available for 3 people.

I'm not with the same partner anymore, how do I change their name / identity in the application?

If you have a new partner, you can go to the menu, click on My Profile, then change your partner's first name and identity. Please note that if you change your partner's identity, the experiences offered will not be the same in order to respect the sexual orientation of each individual. The next time you leave and reopen the app, all changes will have been taken into account.

I define myself as non-binary, how can I use the application?

For technical reasons and because melba is in the early stages of its history, for the time being the guided experiences work with the use of the pronoun "she" and the term "woman" to refer to people with vulvas, and the use of the pronoun "he" and the term "man" to refer to people with penises. When it is not necessary, for example in articles written by our therapists, we try as much as possible to use neutral terms that include everyone.

I am a transgender person, how do I use the application?

For technical reasons and because melba is at the very beginning of its history, it is important to know that the guided experiences work for the moment with the use of the pronoun she and the term woman to designate people with a vulva, as well as the use of the pronoun he and the term man to designate people with a penis.

I have several partners, how can I use the application?

When you sign up, we ask you to give your partner's name and identity, in order to personalize your experiences as much as possible. However, you can change your partner's name and identity as many times as you like, just go to the menu, click on "My Profile", then change the information. The next time you leave and reopen the app, the changes will have been taken into account.

Are there any contraindications to the use of Melba?

We remind you that Melba is an experience that suggests you to follow a vocal guide, but in no case you should feel obliged to perform the proposed gestures. In order to be sure that an experience is made for you and respects your sensibility, we invite you to read the tags available on the episode cards which allow you to have an overview of the proposed practices. We also remind you that Melba is an experience that must be done with mutual consent and respect.

If you are already being followed by a sex therapist, do not hesitate to talk about it with them!

Who writes the Melba scripts?

The Melba scriptwriting committee is composed of:

- screenwriters and/or writers who write erotic literature and who have developed expertise in certain areas of sexuality and pleasure. Note that the scriptwriters are of the same sexual orientation as the one for which the script is proposed.
- sexologists and couples therapists, who propose themes that have a positive impact on sexuality, and who make sure that the gestures proposed and the words used in the episodes respect the sensibilities of each person and offer a plurality of viewpoints

Who are the voices of Melba?

Melba's voices, both female and male, are recorded by professional actors, who are briefed to adopt a sensual and suggestive tone without being too intrusive, in a recording studio.

Why is it not possible to go forward or backward in an episode?

The Melba experiences were written to be lived in the order indicated. Going backwards or forwards may prevent you from fully enjoying the experience and following the instructions correctly. You can, however, pause and restart the experience if you need to take more time on an instruction.

Melba was born of the encounter between Lucie and Vincent, two entrepreneurs who wanted to help couples explore their sexuality more simply, and who found that existing solutions were either of poor quality, or promoted an old-fashioned sexuality.
